Sometimes they are driven by a desire to explore new interests but often also to return to unfulfilled childhood desires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adult program at music school<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>At the First International Music School \u201cEva<\/strong>\u201c, we have been&nbsp;<strong>paying great attention to our adult students since the very beginning<\/strong>. That\u2019s how our&nbsp;<em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/en\/piano-classes-for-adults-how-does-eva-musci-adult-program-look-like-from-the-perspective-of-our-student-marko-simic\/\">Adult program<\/a><\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;came about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike children, whose inner motivation varies,&nbsp;<strong>adults are usually determined to dedicate themselves to playing or singing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore,&nbsp;<strong>one hour a week is enough for adults to make a progress<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reasons that encourage them to contact us are different:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>someone wants to\u00a0<strong>continue playing music after a long break<\/strong>, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>someone wants to\u00a0<strong>complete their knowledge by obtaining an internationally recognized\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/rs.abrsm.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABRSM diploma<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>However,\u00a0<strong>it is not uncommon for adult students to come without any prior knowledge<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whatever the reason is,&nbsp;<strong>our professors are experienced in working with adults and all our experiences so far have been extremely beautiful and productive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to encourage everyone who is thinking of dedicating themselves to an instrument again or for the first time,&nbsp;<strong>we would like to describe some of our previous experiences<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adult program at music school \u201cEva\u201d for e<strong>xperienced students<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1020\" height=\"680\" src=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-sa-iskustvom-beograd-1020x680-1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1761\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-sa-iskustvom-beograd-1020x680-1.webp 1020w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-sa-iskustvom-beograd-1020x680-1-300x200.webp 300w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-sa-iskustvom-beograd-1020x680-1-768x512.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When it comes to&nbsp;<strong>students who have already played or sung<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>we continue our work where they left off&nbsp;<\/strong>when they stopped playing. Along the way, we always&nbsp;<strong>try to help with both technical problems and improving the way they learn<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This part is very important so that t<strong>he participants start learning faster and more efficiently and so that they reach their goal as soon as possible<\/strong>. Of course, we don\u2019t insist too much on these elements if the student doesn\u2019t like it, because&nbsp;<strong>enjoying music is definitely in the first place<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a similar way, we follow the wishes of the participants within the program we deal with, and that is<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>mostly classical music<\/strong>\u00a0with possible extensions into<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>film<\/strong>\u00a0and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>popular\u00a0<strong>pop<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>rock<\/strong>\u00a0and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>jazz music genres<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exams<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1020\" height=\"680\" src=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-beograd-polaganje-ispita-1020x680-1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1762\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-beograd-polaganje-ispita-1020x680-1.webp 1020w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-beograd-polaganje-ispita-1020x680-1-300x200.webp 300w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-beograd-polaganje-ispita-1020x680-1-768x512.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>In case the student wants to pass the exam<\/strong>, we have much higher expectations from them and we assume that they have more developed work habits. In a similar way, they must be ready to work on their technical problems if the given program requires it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For adult learners, this part can be challenging, especially if they have not been actively involved in playing for a long time, but if they have a good prior knowledge, and are willing to work,&nbsp;<strong>the technique can be regained quickly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are proud to say that&nbsp;<strong>our adult students also have 100% pass the exams<\/strong>, and that we have acquired several high-level&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/en\/what-is-abrsm-system-of-music-education-program-that-we-use-at-eva-music-school-and-what-is-its-advantage\/\">ABRSM diplomas<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Attendees without experience<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1020\" height=\"680\" src=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-bez-iskustva-beograd-1020x680-1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1763\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-bez-iskustva-beograd-1020x680-1.webp 1020w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-bez-iskustva-beograd-1020x680-1-300x200.webp 300w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-bez-iskustva-beograd-1020x680-1-768x512.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike the example of adult students with previous musical experience, there are<strong>&nbsp;not a small number of those who acquired their first musical knowledge with us<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This category of students is very specific.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is a known fact that children who start playing a musical instrument before their ninth birthday, eventually develop a stronger bond between the two hemispheres of the brain. She helps them with the motor demands that an instrument puts in front of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When this age limit is crossed, that bond develops more slowly, and is especially underdeveloped in adults who have never played. Therefore, when they start learning,&nbsp;<strong>most of their attention will be occupied by motor requirements<\/strong>, unlike learning notes, rhythmic values \u200b\u200band other theoretical knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to overcome this problem,&nbsp;<strong>it takes time and perseverance<\/strong>, but&nbsp;<strong>with the right teacher and good guidance, this problem is easily overcome<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>An adult student will pass this initial phase much faster than the average child<\/strong>, so that after a year and a half of regular attendance, he will be able to independently use music materials and learn compositions of medium difficulty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Public appearance<\/strong><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1020\" height=\"680\" src=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-beograd-javni-nastupi-1020x680-1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1764\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-beograd-javni-nastupi-1020x680-1.webp 1020w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-beograd-javni-nastupi-1020x680-1-300x200.webp 300w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/casovi-instrumenata-za-odrasle-beograd-javni-nastupi-1020x680-1-768x512.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Public performances for our adult attendees are also part of the program. They are not obligatory&nbsp;<\/strong>because some of the participants do not like them, but there are also those who like to show their skills in front of the audience from time to time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As time goes on and the number of our adult attendees grows, we hope that we will soon have specialized concerts just for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We believe that in a society similar to oneself, a larger number of them will find it easier to decide to perform in front of others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Conclusion<\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Whether they have a goal in front of them to acquire basic musical knowledge or an international diploma<\/strong>, adult students will spend many hours filled with the most beautiful contents in cooperation with a great&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/en\/eva-team\/\">teaching team<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to learning to play or sing, our adult students will also know the data from<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>music history,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>aesthetics and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>knowledge of literature, which they will also get in a class.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will be happy to advise them on visiting interesting concerts that are organized in our city, and also refer them to inspiring recordings of the world\u2019s best performers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Music is the universal language of the human soul<\/strong>, especially when we are able to interpret and create it ourselves.
