{"id":3608,"date":"2020-08-15T18:03:18","date_gmt":"2020-08-15T18:03:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/prva-medjunarodna-privatna-muzicka-skola-eva-music-kako-je-sve-pocelo\/"},"modified":"2024-07-09T15:17:12","modified_gmt":"2024-07-09T15:17:12","slug":"the-first-international-private-music-school-eva-how-it-all-started","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/en\/the-first-international-private-music-school-eva-how-it-all-started\/","title":{"rendered":"The first international private music school \u201cEVA\u201d \u2013 how it all started?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is said that in one African tribe,\u00a0<strong><em>the birth of a child is counted from the time it is born in the mother\u2019s mind.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0That is how our private music school\u00a0<em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/en\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cEva Music\u201d<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<strong><em>was born in our minds seven years ago.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0After the final exams at the state music school, at a coffee shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1020\" height=\"536\" src=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/privatna-muzicka-skola-eva-music-suvlasnice-ana-i-vesna-1020x536-1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1790\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/privatna-muzicka-skola-eva-music-suvlasnice-ana-i-vesna-1020x536-1.webp 1020w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/privatna-muzicka-skola-eva-music-suvlasnice-ana-i-vesna-1020x536-1-300x158.webp 300w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/privatna-muzicka-skola-eva-music-suvlasnice-ana-i-vesna-1020x536-1-768x404.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Co-owners of the first international private music school \u201cEva\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The story flowed, and the topics were mostly uninspiring atmosphere and impossibility of progress.&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/en\/ana-rancic-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ana<\/a>, who was thinking about emigrating to Norway with her husband and two girls, asked&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/en\/vesna-radic\/\" target=\"_blank\">Vesna<\/a>: \u201cWhy don\u2019t we open a&nbsp;<strong><em>private music school<\/em><\/strong>?\u201d Vesna liked the idea and the conversation began. But after that, that topic was forgotten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Until March 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How did the idea of the first international private music school develop?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At that time,&nbsp;<strong>Vesna<\/strong>&nbsp;was doing at least one job in addition to the state job,&nbsp;<strong><em>she wrote a book, held private lessons, performed, and worked in the film industry.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Ana<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;was on her third maternity leave,&nbsp;<strong><em>starting a business selling homemade play daugh&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong>that she made herself.&nbsp;<strong><em>Years of dedicated work with students, accompaniment experience, successful concerts<\/em><\/strong>&nbsp;were behind her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1020\" height=\"536\" src=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ana-i-vesna-suvlasnice-eva-music-privatna-muzicka-skola-1020x536-1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1791\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ana-i-vesna-suvlasnice-eva-music-privatna-muzicka-skola-1020x536-1.webp 1020w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ana-i-vesna-suvlasnice-eva-music-privatna-muzicka-skola-1020x536-1-300x158.webp 300w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/ana-i-vesna-suvlasnice-eva-music-privatna-muzicka-skola-1020x536-1-768x404.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The idea shone around the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/en\/what-is-abrsm-system-of-music-education-program-that-we-use-at-eva-music-school-and-what-is-its-advantage\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>ABRSM method&nbsp;<\/strong><\/a>\u2013 a method for which Vesna already had a license. It is a&nbsp;<strong><em>method that arrived in Serbia fifteen years ago<\/em><\/strong>, but it was not yet sufficiently known.&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/rs.abrsm.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">ABRSM<\/a>&nbsp;impressed them both with its&nbsp;<strong><em>simplicity and applicability.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>It is a method for future professionals as well as for those who will not become one. According to it, adults can learn, but also children from vulnerable groups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is a method by which you can work in almost a hundred countries around the world and always get the grade you deserve because the way of grading is very clearly prescribed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And finally, it is a method in which you can work all the elements with one professor and thus save your time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For all these and many other reasons, ABRSM was the perfect starting point to reflect everything the two of them believed in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ana and Vesna \u2013 co-owners of the first international private music school \u201cEva Music\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First of all, they wanted to teach only&nbsp;<em><strong>classical music to the highest standards<\/strong><\/em>, but they wanted to avoid the trap that often leads to unfounded ambitions and excessive pressure on the child and the teacher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>They wanted to create in children a love for art and the joy of making music<\/em><\/strong>, so the backbone of \u201cEva\u2019s\u201d school year became concerts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1020\" height=\"536\" src=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/vesna-i-ana-eva-music-privatna-muzicka-skola-1020x536-1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1792\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/vesna-i-ana-eva-music-privatna-muzicka-skola-1020x536-1.webp 1020w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/vesna-i-ana-eva-music-privatna-muzicka-skola-1020x536-1-300x158.webp 300w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/vesna-i-ana-eva-music-privatna-muzicka-skola-1020x536-1-768x404.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone who knows Vesna and Ana knows that at first glance they look completely different. And they really are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The things that connect them are&nbsp;<em><strong>perseverance, value and expertise.<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;They master the matter they deal with, but above all&nbsp;<em><strong>they share the love for their vocation and the children they work with<\/strong><\/em>. And of course, towards each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The first international music school \u201cEva Music\u201d \u2013 the first steps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the beginning, they saw each other every day. After dozens hours of conversation, joint and individual work, the first phase was completed \u2013&nbsp;<strong><em>\u201cEva\u2019s\u201d website was created<\/em><\/strong>, their first step towards success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Soon after that, while&nbsp;<em><strong>they were promoting \u201cEva\u201d, handing out leaflets that they were terribly proud of<\/strong><\/em>, the doors of a new world opened before them, into which they entered a little timidly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As their step became safer, so did the sentences with which they wanted to praise&nbsp;<em><strong>their ideas become stronger, more convincing and full of pride in what they were creating.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When they borrowed money to rent a premises two months before the start of the school year, without a single secure client,&nbsp;<em><strong>somewhere deep down they knew they had already succeeded.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1020\" height=\"536\" src=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/prvi-koraci-eva-music-privatna-muzicka-skola-1020x536-1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1793\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/prvi-koraci-eva-music-privatna-muzicka-skola-1020x536-1.webp 1020w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/prvi-koraci-eva-music-privatna-muzicka-skola-1020x536-1-300x158.webp 300w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/prvi-koraci-eva-music-privatna-muzicka-skola-1020x536-1-768x404.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When they transferred their personal pianos in it in August, after a little fear that flowed through their bodies,&nbsp;<strong><em>their step became even more decisive<\/em><\/strong>. Both Ana and Vesna\u2019s husband stood beside them, gently encouraging them to move on.&nbsp;<em><strong>Without them, they would never have succeeded.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This is what the first school year in the private music school \u201cEva Music\u201d looked like<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The school year, however, started with five students. Soon two more joined them.&nbsp;<strong><em>By the end of the school year, there were sixteen of them<\/em><\/strong>. Many of them are still part of \u201cEva\u201d. As they grow and last together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A large part of the success is also represented by the associates.&nbsp;<strong><em>These are teachers who see beyond their colleagues<\/em><\/strong>, for whom&nbsp;<em><strong>responsibility for their work is a natural thing and who are ready to learn.<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;And&nbsp;<em><strong>their motivation<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;is proof that they are on the right path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1020\" height=\"536\" src=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/profesori-muzickih-instrumenata-privatna-muzicka-skola-eva-music-1020x536-1.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1794\" srcset=\"https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/profesori-muzickih-instrumenata-privatna-muzicka-skola-eva-music-1020x536-1.webp 1020w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/profesori-muzickih-instrumenata-privatna-muzicka-skola-eva-music-1020x536-1-300x158.webp 300w, https:\/\/evamusic.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/profesori-muzickih-instrumenata-privatna-muzicka-skola-eva-music-1020x536-1-768x404.webp 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, what they learned while creating \u201cEva\u201d is that sometimes good ingredients are not enough for a good recipe, and&nbsp;<em><strong>some secret spice is needed.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>That secret spice is that significant piece of luck or inspiration that comes when you work hard and when you cross the line beyond which you no longer feel safe.
