Ana Rančić was born in Belgrade. At the Faculty of Music in Belgrade she finished two sections: a department for general music pedagogy and a piano section. Parallel to the faculty, she finished a harpsichord in the MS “Josip Slavenski” at the Early Music Department.
Since 2000. she has been actively working as a pedagogue and piano accompaniest. As a piano professor and as a piano accompaniest with pupils, she won dozens of awards at domestic and international competitions.
As a chamber musician and soloist on both the piano and the harpsichord, she performed in all important city halls. She was a longtime collaborator of the „Renaissance“ Early Music Center, as well as the baroque ensemble “Parnas”.
She also collaborated with the theater “Teatric”. She wrote and arranged music for their performances.
Ana Rančić skillfully caters to almost all areas of music. Starting with excellent knowledge of solo and chamber music, solfegio, harmony, musical forms, to the correlation of theoretical subjects with performing and pedagogical practice, composing, aesthetics and psychology.
She is licensed ABRSM professor for South East Europe (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music of Great Britain).
Through pedagogical work, she always tries to stimulate pupils by heart and devotion to understand music and enjoy it.
Through an individual approach, she encourages every student to become independent as soon as possible. How much it enjoys performing, it enjoys so much in the work process.
In the spring of 2016 with her colleague Vesna Radić she founded the International Centre for Musical Arts “Eva”. That is the crown of her previous work.
