FIRST MUSIC COMPETITION “EVA MUSIC” BELGRADE Play your dreams; May 11 and 12, 2024

The International Center for Musical Arts “Eva Music” was founded in 2016 with an idea to provide the highest quality education in the field of classical music, but also to contribute to the development of the local community.

Today, there are two parts of this center: The Music School, which has two departments: classical and modern, and which has over 100 students; and the Music Center, which organizes masterclasses, competitions, music salons and more.

The founders Ana Rančić and Vesna Radić, before founding the center, were piano teachers for many years at the “Vatroslav Lisinski” Music School in Belgrade. They tried to transfer their love for music to all their students and to encourage as many of them as possible to engage in the art of music. Today we can proudly say that many of their students are professional musicians and fellow educators.

Since the beginning of the establishment of the “Eva Music” center, in addition to running the Music School, Vesna and Ana have tried to contribute to their local community through socially responsible activities. They organized a series of successful masterclasses, from the famous baritone David Bižić, through renowned teachers and guitar professors and piano professors as Aleksandar Serdar, Ljiljana Vukelja, Dorian Leljak and others. The center sponsored the opening of the XX Chopin Fest in Belgrade.

This year, they wanted to go a step further in contributing to the preservation of culture and art in their city and country, which is why they founded this Competition.

Music competition

The “Play Your Dreams” Competition, as an independent event, invites all teachers and students from both state and private schools, those who work according to the national, freelance, as well as international programs.

The proposals are designed by class, not by age, because students who later decided to start learning an instrument are also welcome.

A carefully selected jury will listen and evaluate to the students with favor, evaluating their current achievements but also pointing out the room for improvement. The number of awards is not limited, and each participant will receive a diploma for first, second or third place.

Citizens of Serbia and non-Serbian citizens can apply.

Students can use music sheets, on all instruments.
