Milena Petrovic

Art and classical music roots run deep in her family tree. Milena was born in Belgrade where she received both primary and high school education in „Mokranjac“ Music School.  She graduated from the Music Academy in Belgrade with the highest grade, studying under professor Aleksandar Serdar.

Milena won numerous prizes at local and international competitions. She has been improving herself by taking part in numerous piano masterclasses with renowned pianists as Pavel Nersessian, François-René Duchâble and Aleksandar Madzar, among others.

She has performed as a soloist and in different chamber ensembles in major music festivals, at the most important concert halls in Belgrade and region. As a chamber musician and piano accompanist, Milena has collaborated with leading musicians. She is a member of the well-known Ensemble for Different New Music. Since 2005 she has been actively working as a pedagogue and piano accompanist. During the years of her dedicated pedagogical work, particularly as a piano accompanist, she won dozens of awards with pupils at domestic and international competitions.
